Nouns commissions Jonathan Mann (@songadayman) to make the Oct 10th 2021 ‘Song A Day’ about Noun 69,” aimed to connect the world of music with the Nouns universe.
Jonathan Mann has been writing and publishing a song every day since 2009, making him a perfect collaborator with Nouns – Since Nouns similarly are created and distributed once a day. The proposal commissioned Jonathan to write, record, and release a song dedicated to Noun 69 which was minting a few days later, on October 10th. It passed with overwhelming support. Jonathan delivered a catchy and playful song that brought Noun 69 to life. Song A Day #4666 embodied Jonathan’s signature musical vibe, and reflected the weird and humorous nature of the Nouns community.
The winning bidder of Noun 69 also received the “Song A Day” ethereum NFT. The NFT can be viewed on Opensea.

The collaboration was an example of how Nouns embraces experimental projects – By leveraging “Song A Day’s” massive audience and his commitment to daily creativity, the project successfully introduced the Nouns brand to a wider audience.
